1. New Release of Macro Express

Macro Express version 2.1b has been released and is now available for download from our site at www.macros.com/download.htm. A list of enhancements and bug fixes for this version can be found at www.macros.com/rev2_1b.htm.

2. IMPORTANT NOTICE about Macro Express v 2.1a

If you installed Macro Express version 2.1a, we strongly suggest you upgrade to version 2.1b. Many, but not all, users reported errors with version 2.1a, the most frequent being a Runtime 216 Error. If you have had Runtime 216 Errors, we suggest you uninstall version 2.1a before installing version 2.1b.

3. Macro Express Tip: Silent Install

Macro Express v 2.1b introduces a new feature for Network Administrators: Silent Install. A silent install is the ability to run the installation program without the user having to answer any questions. This allows an application to be installed automatically. A silent install can even run when a user logs onto the network. See our Silent Install FAQ for more information.
