What it does:
This set of macros creates a versatile popup reminder system. It makes use of the Macro Express Registry, Messaging, Date/Time functions as well as optionally the Speakit addon available from Insight Software Solutions. The Reminders Multi macro is set to the Hotkey Ctrl+Shift+L but can be reassigned as needed and can also be included in any menus.

This macro will load each reminder into the system. The Reminders Multi macro is meant to be scheduled. I have it on a one minute schedule. Each time it wakes up it checks the registry for any reminders to be triggered and triggers them. It then allows you to Dismiss the reminder or Reschedule it to a later time.

Note: The RemindersMulti macro has a variable T99 that controls the usage of the Speakit system. By default it is turned ON but you can easily turn it off by editing the macro and setting the variable to anything other than the word Speakit.

To install:
Download the macro file umremindersmulti.mex and save it to your hard drive. Import the macro into your existing macro file by clicking File | Import | Macros.

To use:
Press the keys Ctrl+Shift+L. When asked, enter a reminder and time.

How it works:
The Ctrl+Shift+L macro activates the Reminders Multi macro to set up the reminder.

Requirements:
This macro requires Macro Express v 3.5 or later.
Optionally, this macro will use the Speak It addon.
