Clipboard File Copy

The Clipboard File Copy command copies the contents of a text file directly to the clipboard. Rather than opening the file, highlighting the text and copying to the clipboard, this command reads the contents directly from the file and places the contents into the clipboard. Issuing a subsequent Paste command pastes the contents of the text file into the application currently open.

Script Editor > Expand Clipboard Category > Clipboard File Copy

Enter a file name and the full file path or click on the Browse button to search for the desired text file. Click the OK button to save.
