Macro Express Pro v 4.6.2.1

Macro Express Pro v 4.6.2.1 is now available from www.macros.com/download. This release of Macro Express Pro contains many enhancements and bug fixes including:

  • Fixed several issues in the samples.mex macro file.
  • Fixed a problem that caused a “Insert disk into drive D:” message on some computers.
  • Fixed a problem that caused a crash when 0 hours, 0 minutes and 0 seconds was entered into the Date/Time Use a Specific Date/Time command.
  • The message that is displayed when a macro is halted no longer automatically has “Don’t show this again” checked.

Tip: Run a macro from the middle of the script

“How can I start running a macro from the middle of the script?” our support department was asked. Well, there are several ways that you could do this.

  1. Disable all of the lines at the beginning of the macro. Highlight the lines you do not want to run and click the Enable/Disable command icon.
  2. Copy the lines you want to run and save to a new macro. Run from that macro.
  3. Break your macro into several separate macros. Use the Macro Run command to call the separate macros from the main macro or run individual macros separately.
  4. If using Macro Express Pro, insert a Goto command at the beginning of your macro and a Label command where you want to start running.
