Launching a shortkey macro: Use prefix keys with Prefix keys

Our sample shortkey shown above has an activation of hte and the Prefix keys are set to //. To run the shortkey macro you must first type // and then type h t e.

When Prefix keys are set in the preferences, the Prefix keys must be typed before the shortkey activation to trigger playback.

The settings to launch a shortkey are found by clicking Options, Preferences, Activations and then the Shortkeys tab from the Macro Explorer window. For this example Use prefix keys is selected with the Prefix keys set to //.
