How do I capture a macro, edit it to include an if/else loop, then continue recording?

The simplest thing to do would be to create two macros. Capture your first macro and edit it with the If statement. Create a new macro and capture the remainder of the macro steps. Edit your first macro and add a Macro Run command to the end of your script to call the second macro.
